Faucet Installation and Repair
Repair or Install?
Everyone has had to deal with a leaky faucet at some point. Maybe the fixture is old and needs to be replaced, or it was installed incorrectly in the first place. Not only can the constant drip drip drip be annoying, but it wastes water and can cause stains in the kitchen or bathroom sink. There are two ways to take care of a leaky faucet: repair it or install a new faucet altogether.
Depending on where the leak is occuring, there may be more damage than meets the eye. If faulty connections are the problem, water could be leaking into the base cabinet, causing water damage or dry rot to the wood. Or it could be as simple as a worn out washer.
True Plumbing has the experience to spot these problems and how to investigate the issue, no matter if it’s a touchless, pulldown faucet in the kitchen or a century old faucet used in a clawfoot tub. We work safely, quickly and cleanly to get your kitchen or bathroom back to working order. We understand what a disruption it can be to be without water in two of the most important rooms of the house.
If the old faucet is beyond repair, or your thinking about remodeling and want a new look, True Plumbing can do that, too. We will inspect the existing plumbing to make sure all connections are in good working order before installing the new faucet. When the new faucet is in place, all joints, caulk, washers, rings and other materials will be tested to make sure the installation is done properly.
A leaky faucet can be more than a minor annoyance, affecting your water bill and even causing damage to the sink or the area directly below the sink. If you are currently experiencing a leaky faucet, contact True Plumbing today. With more than 70 years of experience, working in residential, emergency, and exterior situations, we will get the job done at a fair price.
